This removes extra starch and makes the rice less sticky.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Add water<\/strong><br>Put the washed rice into the inner pot and add water.<br>The general rule is: for 180 ml of rice, add about 200 ml of water.<br>You can also use the water level lines marked inside the pot.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Soak the rice<\/strong><br>Let the rice soak in the water for about <strong>30 minutes<\/strong> before cooking. This helps the rice cook more evenly and improves the texture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Put the inner pot into the rice cooker<\/strong><br>Make sure the bottom of the pot is dry and clean. Then close the lid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Select the cooking setting<\/strong><br>Press the menu button to choose the type of rice (for example, \u201cwhite rice,\u201d \u201cbrown rice,\u201d or \u201cquick cooking\u201d).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start cooking<\/strong><br>Press the start button. The cooker will automatically adjust the heat and time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wait for the beep<\/strong><br>When the rice is done, the rice cooker will beep.
