COOP留学41日目
今日のグループワークは疲れた。授業中にケータイ触っていて指示を何も理解していない仲間にイライラした。しかも何も理解していないまま始めて、めちゃくちゃ気が強く、堂々としていた。自分はグループワークでパッシブなリスナーの役を与えられていたので彼女の言葉を待っていた。お互い目を見て沈黙のまま10秒くらい見つめあっていた。あまりに見つめ合っていたので自分が目をそらしてしまった。なんか悔しい。負けた感じがする。
なんでちゃんと授業受けて指示を理解している自分が負い目を感じなければならないのだろうか。モヤモヤする。海外に来て考え方の違いや分からないときの姿勢の違いに戸惑いを感じる瞬間だった。分からないなら分からないと言ってほしかった。
今回の件で誤解したくないのは外国人だから変なのではなく、間違えなくそいつが変であるということ。主語を大きくしないように気を付けたい。変な奴と上手く話せるようになるためにも英語の勉強は頑張ってやっていきたい。
