COOP留学17日目
ZONE1の駅近く、治安が良くて安い場所をついに見つけました。建物自体は古いですが、汚いわけではなかったのでそこに決めました。（自分のマスト条件、トイレットペーパーをトイレに流していいところだったのも高得点。）オーナーは遠方に住んでいるためひとまず案内人の人にお金を渡して終了。お互いのスマホでお金を入れる様子を写真に撮って終わりました。（本当はレシートが良かったけど案内人が持っていないとのこと。）
あらかじめ聞きたいことはメモしていたのでその点ははっきりさせることができたのと、文法はめちゃくちゃでも自分の確認したかったことは確認できたので満足している。自分の前の住民（この人が四月末で退出するので、自分が五月から入る。）も3年近く住んでいたということなのである程度快適なのだろうと推察しました。
自分の質問リストは下記です。
- Does the rent include utilities and laundry? (家賃を支払えば追加のfeeは必要ないのか。）
- How long is the minimum stay?（最低滞在期間は。自分に合わない場合、引っ越す必要があるため。）
- How much advance notice do you need before moving out?（退出のときにはいつ知らせればいいか。）
- Are there any rules on how to throw out the garbage?（ゴミの処理についてのルールはあるのか。）
- How do I turn on the heat?（冬寒いだろうから聞いてみた。基本的にはセントラルヒーティングだと思う。）
- Is it OK to flush the toilet paper down the toilet?（自分はこれがyesはマスト。ホームステイはtrash binに入れないといけない。）
神サイトを見つけました。音楽を聴いて、その歌詞をタイピングするゲーム。英語のリスニングの勉強はもちろん、タイピングの練習にもなるし、なにより楽しい。今度、操作方法や始め方について説明します。
英語の勉強はもちろん、英語を使って仕事をすることがこの留学の目的の一つ。しっかりと確認して一つずつ取り組んでいきたいです。

This weekend, I went hiking at Quarry Rock. I forgot to put on sunscreen, so the skin around my mouth got sunburned and is stinging. The best part of the hike was the sandwich I ate at the top of Quarry Rock.
